The Spark Building, from the people who’ve used it
"The Spark is an ideal space for a team offsite. The rooms are comfortable and flexible, the light is fantastic, the technology works perfectly, and the kitchen is a step away. Special highlights were a lunch on the roof with delicious sourdough bagels and learning about the Spark's inspiring community programs. We had a fantastic experience there."
-Fred Wilson, Partner, Union Square Ventures
"It was absolutely wonderful, exactly as I imagined and hoped. Such a great crowd, such a great feeling in the room, and everything looked great and ran so smoothly—from the set up to the wine and cheese to the book sales. Thank you so much for giving me and Town & Country such a warm and special welcome."
-Brian Schaefer, author of Town & Country, a novel
“The Spark is a beautiful space to host a baby shower or special event. We rented the second floor and were thoroughly impressed with the room, staff and pricing. Jenn assisted greatly in nailing down the details prior to our special day to ensure a smooth event, while Fathema offered great support the day of. The Spark team is friendly, accommodating and professional. I would highly recommend renting this space!”
-Grace L., baby shower host
More than a venue. A model for community-funded hospitality.
The Spark Building exists to prove that exceptional experiences and community impact aren't separate pursuits—they're the same thing done right.
Every corporate offsite, cocktail reception, and milestone celebration generates revenue that funds building operations and staff that support free workshops, paid youth apprenticeships, and other programming for Hudson and surrounding area residents.
Your team-building retreat keeps the lights on for someone's first coding or rain water capture class. Your celebration pays for the program director who organizes grief support circles and ecological garden clubs. Your booking is a building block.
